Well it is almost here... several months of planning and we are almost ready for the Distribution Trip 2011. I have spent the last week helping our partner organisation VICDA purchase everything for the trip, which has included stops to timber yards in Nakuru, grain warehouses in Nairobi, and grilling my Father on fridge manufacturers... You know, the usual things you expect to do when in Kenya!
We went to Nakuru for 2 days, visiting the IDP camps to ensure we get the right materials for the new homes we are building there, and today the team are off to down-town Nairobi to collect the remaining bits and pieces.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the participants when they arrive this weekend, and putting it all together!
